Manuscript Typology & Scope

Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analyses
Syntheses of existing literature, PRISMA-compliant reviews, and statistical meta-analyses addressing core debates.
Short Communications & Brief Reports
High-urgency initial findings, novel methodological developments, or sharp conceptual critiques.
Manuscript Formatting & Structure
File Format & Typography
Manuscripts must be submitted as editable Microsoft Word (.docx) documents. Set page size to standard A4, with 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins on all sides. Use standard readable fonts such as Times New Roman (12 pt) or Calibri (11 pt), double-spaced throughout, including references and abstract. Consecutive line numbering should be enabled to assist peer reviewers.

Double-Blind Anonymization Instructions
To preserve the impartiality of double-blind review, the uploaded manuscript file must contain no author names, affiliations, email addresses, or identifying institutional references. Ensure that Microsoft Word document properties (File > Info > Inspect Document > Remove Personal Information) are cleared before uploading to OJS. A separate Title Page file containing author names and affiliations should be uploaded as a supplementary file.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
IJMAP operates on a gold open-access model. All articles published are permanently free for anyone to read, download, copy, and distribute without paywalls. To sustain our editorial workflows, plagiarism software licenses, Crossref DOI registrations, and permanent digital archiving, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is levied only upon formal acceptance following peer review.
Discounted APC: Only ₹399 (India) / $25 USD (International)
To encourage foundational scholarly contributions for our inaugural issue, the publisher has discounted the standard publication fees. There are zero manuscript submission fees; authors incur charges only if the article successfully passes double-blind peer review and receives formal acceptance.
